I think the complaints about the current generation are also outdated. At least in my neighborhood, there was a period in the 90s when kids were always inside. Recently they seem to be more free-range, outside until sunset every night as we were. Maybe the always-inside generation is now the parents of the current free-rangers, and decided to go the opposite way?
